  1. At about 1:59 it refers to the negative side as the side current flows out from.. but electrons have a negative charge and flow towards the positive charge if i understand or remember right, I'm not an expert, mind you. Are you sure this is a correct statement, ti's possible it is.

  2. if so much dissipation leads to the validation of the bulb's lifespan, i would actually start counting the biggest should be recyclable part which is the internal power from the self power leds, they're such waste

  3. Hi. Unlike Wahid (below) I'm 53 and just getting into electronics in preparation for converting a van for full-time living when possible. Finally, a guy that explain it in terms that even I can understand…..well…for the most part. Big Thanks!! Just joined so some sifting to do but have you done anything on Solar power?. Oh…..Happy New Year to you

  4. If you have far-red LEDs, the forward voltage will be lower than a standard red, and infrared ones have an even lower forward voltage. Is there a general equation for light wavelength versus forward voltage?

  5. What do I need to make up a 120volt indicator light using a led diode? I am wanting to help my daughter make something for her boyfriend. I am familiar with simple wiring,.but never fooled with leds..
