  1. How about Betta’s in a tank with Neon/Cardinal/Rummy nose Tetras and a lot of Red Cherry Shrimp ?
Would that work or will the Betta feast on my shrimp ?

  2. I have a betta who has become very shy lately, I have extra space for him to hide and his color hasn't waned… but I'm wondering if he's become shy due to one of his tankmates getting. Rather big. I have a feeder goldfish who sprang from 1.5 inches to 3 inches recently. Should I look into replacing the goldfish with another platy? Thanks!

  3. I want to do a betta sorority tank

I want to have some guppies, betas of course and some pygmy corydoras in a 30 gallon

If I put 5 female bettas, 3 guppies, and 4 pygmy corydoras would that be too overcrowded

  4. Sorry about this, but I actually got a 36 gallon tank instead of 20, so I was wondering if this would work:
    Betta
    Cory cats x6
    Harlequin rasboras x9
    Ember tetras x9
    1 Clown Pleco
    1 Platy
    2 ghost, cherry, amano Shrimp
    2 zebra snails

I know these guy go together, but with fish I don’t know too much about (Plecos and Platys in particular) is there anything I should be worried about?

  5. Hi Fluval Team, love the videos!

I'm thinking of buying the Fluval Flex like the one in this video. I haven't decided on which size yet, but would like a Betta Fish with some other Community Fish.

How many tank-mates would you recommend in the 2 different size versions of the flex?

I'm deciding between different tetras/rasboras/corys and would like a plecostomus but would hate to overstock. Some advice of a suitable number of additions would be great!

    Thanks.

  6. In a 20 gallon tank may I keep:
    1 betta
    4 Cory cats
    1-2 zebra snails
    5-8 ghost shrimp
    8 harlequin rasboras
Also, do I need to keep species of Cory’s all together, or may they be seperated? For example, may I keep 2 panda corys and 2 albino corys, or will I need 4 of only one species?

  7. My white crown tail bettas gills won’t close and seems to be breathing heavy (this happened since the day I brought him home). He is swimming and eating like a champ, he also has one little tiny whiter spot that has like 1 lifted scale then all the rest of him…don’t think it’s ich or velvet. Any suggestions ?
